Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are a contract between you and CONFERENCE PARTNERS (UK) LIMITED for use of Marquee, an online-only software service for producing online and hybrid events. By using Marquee you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Marquee is — and is not

Marquee is a digital planning and creative tool. It generates run-of-show plans, promotional copy, brand assets and trailers as creative suggestions. Marquee is not a licensed event operator, ticketing platform, payment institution or venue.

• No ticketing. Marquee does not sell tickets or process registrations on your behalf.
• No fund handling. Marquee does not collect registration or ticket fees and does not hold, transfer or escrow any funds.
• No account automation. Marquee does not send email on your behalf and does not manage your social, streaming or community accounts.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for how you run your event, including:

• Speaker agreements, copyright and licensing for any material you use or upload.
• Registration, ticketing and payment collection through your own third-party tools, and their compliance.
• The privacy and security of any attendee or registrant data you collect.
• Reviewing every AI-generated draft for accuracy before you publish or rely on it.
• Complying with the rules of any platform you post to or stream on.

4. Acceptable use

Your use must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it.

5. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep it secure. Marquee is not available to anyone under 13. Users aged 13–17 may only use it with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian who accepts these terms. The service is intended for adult event organisers.

6. Subscriptions, billing and taxes

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in USD through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan includes a set number of events per month; allowances do not roll over. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Intellectual property and your content

You keep ownership of the inputs and files you provide. Rights in the output you generate, and the licence to use Marquee assets, are set out in our Content License. Marquee and its software, branding and templates remain our property.

8. AI output and no guarantee

All output is AI-assisted and may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is a creative suggestion, not professional, legal, financial or compliance advice, and not a guarantee of registrations, attendance or any result. See the AI Disclaimer.

9. Service availability

We work to keep Marquee available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and perform maintenance, from time to time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CONFERENCE PARTNERS (UK) LIMITED is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, data, or events, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where permitted, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination your right to use the service ends; provisions that by nature survive will continue.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
