Acceptable Use Policy
The rules for using Marquee responsibly. Last updated 14 July 2026.
1. Use it for legitimate events
Marquee is for planning and promoting genuine online and hybrid events — webinars, summits, workshops, panels, AMAs, meetups and launches. Use it lawfully and in line with our Terms of Service.
2. Do not use Marquee to
- Create content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, deceptive or that infringes anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Impersonate real people, brands, teams, shows or organisations, or imply a partnership, endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
- Promote scams, fraudulent events, phantom ticketing, pyramid or "get-rich-quick" schemes, or events designed to collect money without delivering.
- Generate content involving minors inappropriately, sexual content, or content promoting violence, self-harm or illegal goods and services.
- Produce regulated financial, legal, medical or other professional advice presented as authoritative.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or bypass limits of the service, or resell it as your own generation tool.
3. No ticketing, funds or account access — by design
Marquee does not sell tickets, collect registration fees, or hold funds, and it does not access or post to your accounts. Do not attempt to use Marquee as a payment, ticketing or messaging service. You must use your own compliant tools for registration, payment and communications, and you are responsible for them.
4. Rights in what you upload
Only upload logos, images or reference material you own or are licensed to use. You are responsible for clearing any rights, including for names, trademarks and likenesses.
5. Enforcement
We may review, limit, suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Report abuse to support@confpartuk.shop.
