Privacy Policy
How we handle your data at Marquee. Last updated 14 July 2026.
1. Who is responsible
Marquee is operated by CONFERENCE PARTNERS (UK) LIMITED("we", "us", "our"), the data controller for personal data processed through this service. Our registered office is 83 Princes Street 83 Princes Street, EH2 2ER, Scotland. You can reach us at support@confpartuk.shop or +44 7360118631 for any privacy request.
2. What we collect
- Account data: name, email address and authentication data when you create an account.
- Subscription and billing data: plan, billing status and the last four digits and card type as returned by our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Your inputs: the event briefs, topics, audience notes, titles, host names and settings you enter into the studio to generate a plan or assets.
- Generated output: the run-of-show, copy, brand assets and trailers produced from your inputs.
- Uploaded files: optional logos, speaker images or reference styles you choose to upload for a generation.
- Support data: messages, contact-form and event-planner submissions you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and basic usage/analytics events needed to run and secure the service.
3. Collection sources (where it comes from)
Our collection sources are: (a) directly from you — when you sign up, use the studio, upload a file or contact us; (b) automatically from your device — technical and usage data collected as you use the service; and (c) from our processors — for example billing status from our payment processor. We do not buy personal data or build profiles from third-party data brokers, and we use no other collection sources than those listed here.
4. Why we use it and our legal bases
- To provide the service — generating plans, assets and exports (performance of a contract).
- To take payment and manage subscriptions (performance of a contract).
- To secure, maintain and improve the service (legitimate interests).
- To provide support and respond to your messages (legitimate interests / contract).
- To send service and, where permitted, marketing messages (consent or legitimate interests; you can opt out anytime).
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
5. Payment provider boundary
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted checkout and are transmitted directly to Stripe; Marquee does not see or store your full card number, CVC or expiry. Marquee does not sell tickets, collect registration or ticket fees, or hold any funds on your behalf.
6. How AI user input, outputs and files are handled
User input (the briefs, topics, audience notes, titles and settings you type into the studio), your generated outputs and any uploaded files are processed only to deliver your request and to let you re-open and export your work. Uploaded reference files (logos, images, styles) are cached only for as long as needed to generate your assets and are cleared on a rolling basis, by default within 30 days. We do not use your inputs, outputs or uploaded files to train AI models. Where a generation step is served by a third-party AI provider, only the content needed for that request is sent, under contract terms that prohibit using it to train their models. You can delete your saved projects and account data at any time.
7. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with processors who help us run the service, under data-processing agreements:
- Hosting and delivery: our cloud hosting and CDN provider (Vercel).
- Payments: Stripe, for checkout, subscriptions and billing.
- Database, authentication and storage: Supabase.
- AI generation providers: the model providers that power generation, when configured, limited to the content of your request.
- Email and support tooling: to deliver service and support messages.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal data.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom and serve customers globally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. How long we keep it
- Account and subscription data: for the life of your account and up to 7 years afterwards for legal, accounting and tax records.
- Your projects and generated output: until you delete them or close your account.
- Uploaded reference files: cached for generation and cleared on a rolling basis, by default within 30 days.
- Support messages: up to 3 years.
10. Your rights (UK GDPR, EU GDPR and CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Restrict or object to processing, and to data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
- For UK/EU residents: lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).
- For California residents: know, delete, correct and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email support@confpartuk.shop.
11. Do Not Sell or Share
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If this ever changes we will provide a clear opt-out; for now there is nothing to opt out of.
12. Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the service and, where permitted, limited analytics to understand usage. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
13. Automated decisions and children
Marquee generates creative drafts but does not make legal or similarly significant automated decisions about you. The service is not for children: it is not available to anyone under 13, and users aged 13–17 must have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
14. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and regulators of a qualifying breach as required by law.
15. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the latest version and we will flag material changes. Questions or complaints? Contact CONFERENCE PARTNERS (UK) LIMITED, 83 Princes Street 83 Princes Street, EH2 2ER, Scotland, or support@confpartuk.shop.
